PERSONAL PROFILE. Partner with SA Law (merged with her former firm of Pickworths Solicitors). Advises on property matters, principally for businesses, investors and developers, with a special interest in residential leasehold law. Enjoys singing, playing and listening to classical music. She and her husband, Rob, have a long standing involvement, first with Round Table and then with Rotary, in fundraising and community activities. Lives in Potten End

TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES: Chairman of the Trustee Board and Chair of CAD Marketing Committee. Co-chair of Remuneration Committee and provides advice and support on CAD financial strategy. Member of the Officers and F&GP committees.
PERSONAL PROFILE: Retired Bank Executive with over 35 years Financial Services experience in the City of London. Much involved in Charity sector. Former Treasurer of The Hospice of St Francis and currently Trustee on the Diocesan Board of Finance of St Albans Diocese of the Church of England. Has lived in Leverstock Green for over 30 years.
Doug Root - Vice Chair
TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES. Vice Chairman of the Trustee Board and Trustee Lead on Diversity, Support4Dacorum and Repair Shed projects. Member of the Officers and F&GP committees. Co-chairs the Remuneration sub-committee and is a member of the Marketing and Training committees.
PERSONAL PROFILE. Retired from local multi-national company as HR Director in 2004. Career largely in Human Resource management and business development. General interest in the charity sector and struggling round the golf course! Lives in Boxmoor.
TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES. Chair of the HITS Committee, Acting chair of the Mobility Committee and a member of the Financial and General Purposes Committee.
PERSONAL PROFILE. Former BT manager, local Borough and County Councillor for many years and member of Herts Police Authority, including 5 years as Chair. As well as CAD, he is a trustee for DENS, Dacortium and the Boxmoor and Warners End Neighbourhood Association. His leisure activities include plenty of visits to the theatre and art galleries.
TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES: Pushpa is a member of the Quality and Training committee and also the European Project committee; due to her previous professional career she takes a particular interest in finance systems and training.
PERSONAL PROFILE: Pushpa is now a semi-retired academic consultant after 18 years of teaching and management in further education and previously 20 years in accounts and management. She has lived in Hemel Hempstead for the last 30 years, which she says is longer than she lived in Sri Lanka! She has a strong interest in community development matters.
TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES. Honorary Treasurer. Member of the HITS and Mobility committees and also a member of the F&GP and Officers’ committees.
PERSONAL PROFILE. Worked for the UK subsidiary of a large international company and was for some years Finance Director of a European Business Unit. He joined CAD as a Trustee in March 2016. Lives in Aldbury and enjoys golf and singing in a local choir.

PERSONAL PROFILE. Headteacher in Hertfordshire, Haringey and Harrow in schools in disadvantaged areas. Involved in the community as Ward Councillor for Apsley and Corner Hall ,Vice Chair of the local U3A,Speaker secretary of Moorland Ladies Club, Trustee of Gadebridge Community Centre, Council representative for Apsley Community Centre ,Committee member of Potten End WI and a Governor of Gadevalley School. Leisure interests are varied ranging from ballroom dancing to all handicrafts to gardening and grandchildren.
Richard is the County Councillor representing the Kings Langley ward and cabinet lead
for Public Health, Prevention and Performance.
Prior to May, Richard was the executive lead for Children and their services and before that took the lead on Partnerships and Performance. CAD works with the Parish,
Borough and County Councils and it is in that context Richard is involved most closely.
Before becoming involved in local politics Richard worked
in the oil industry, is married and has two daughters.”
TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES. John joined the Trustee Board in 2016 and also chairs the European Projects committee.
PERSONAL PROFILE. With a background in university research and teaching, he subsequently took on roles at Board level in an airline and in IT and financial services companies. After retiring, he was very active as Chairman of Hemel Hempstead Cricket Club and since being elected to DBC, he is a member of the Development Control, Finance & Resources and Strategic Planning & Environment committees and the Chairman of the Conservative Policy Forum and a member of the local party executive.
