Door to Store

This service provides older or disabled people who have difficulties in using public transport safe, reliable and accessible transport to a local supermarket.  


Why use Door to Store?

Service picking people up from their homes and taking them to the

Opportunity to meet and make new friends

Carry your shopping to your front door

Ideal chance to catch up with other shoppers over a drink in the cafe

A volunteer to support shoppers around the store and with their shopping

Letting you remain independent in your own homes



Currently the service is available in Kings Langley,

Bovingdon, Berkhamsted, Tring &

Hemel Hempstead.  For full details of the service

Kings Langley

Monday morning every fortnight to Sainsbury's,

Apsley Mills



Monday morning every fortnight to Sainsbury's,

Aplsey Mills



Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday morning of each

month to Waitrose, Berkhamsted.



Thursday morning every fortnight to Tesco’s, Tring.



Friday morning every fortnight to Morrison's, St Albans plus once a month to various other supermarkets

If you are elderly or disabled and you would like to join the scheme you can either become a member by completing this registration form and returning it to us, or by calling on 01442 253935.


How to book

A trip can be booked up to a fortnight in advance. Seats are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Call 01442 253935 or email reception@communityactiondacorum.org.uk.
